Everyone was really welcoming, was mine and my daughter’s first time here. Staff made us feel really relaxed and was able to enjoy ourselves while making some Pokemon trades. We are new to the trading scene but one of the other customers came to sit with us and went over the world of Pokemon trading and battling. My daughter came away with some really trades and increased her collection. Can’t wait for our next time there! Would definitely recommend going if your into the anime, gaming etc

Geek retreat is a wonderful place to go and get your geek/ nerd on. There are different events on every day. You can also come in and just hang out, maybe grab a board game off the shelf and play it. Or sit down and read a comic, of which there are plenty to choose from. I believe there are also some consoles with a selection of games to choose from. There is also a pool table, which is nice. There is also a great choice of food and drinks. The milkshakes are fantastic. The store has a fair use policy, which is a minimum of purchasing a drink every hour, which I think is very fair for all the free stuff you can do there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and after only one visit you will feel very comfortable. The only thing I would say is a slight negative, is there is no working hand dryer or paper towels to dry your hands on. But apart from that, it's an amazing place To go and have fun and just relax.

Geek Retreat is a lovely space to visit with friends and/or family.....plenty of things to do with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We had a good few hours in there...the family, and myself, will definitely be revisiting. Parking is a small issue....there are numerous parking lots, with various prices, within a few minutes walk.

I loved the inclusiveness of this venue. Right from the door you could see how welcoming they are to LGBTQIA+ people. The food was really tasty, and the portions are good for the price, you had to wait a bit for the food to be prepared, but it was well worth the wait. They have a variety of games/collectables and cards on sale and have space for practicing hobbies of all kinds. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Great for a casual boardgame or something longer. Doesn’t have the usual pay by the hour model and instead expects you to buy food and drink regularly if staying for longer than an hour. A big selection of games and lots of tables, with the WarGamer’s tending towards the rear. Best to check ahead if visiting on Sat as tournaments can see it brimmed.
